Philippine Marines Take Center Stage at Rizal Park’s Changing of the Guard

MANILA, Philippines — The National Parks Development Committee in partnership with the Department of Tourism and the Armed Forces of the Philippines invites the public to witness national military tradition, precision, and drill mastery at the historic Rizal Park Luneta, this coming Sunday, 06 September 2026, at 4:00 PM.

This month’s engagement will be anchored entirely by the elite men and women of the Philippine Marine Corps (PMC). The afternoon begins at the Rizal Monument with the solemn Changing of the Guard Ceremony, accompanied by the majestic cadences of the PMC Drum and Bugle Team.

Following the monument ceremony, the performance transitions to the adjacent concrete area at Lawn A for a high-impact Silent Drill Exhibition. Executed by the Philippine Marine Corps Silent Drillers, this world-class display highlights synchronized rifle maneuvers and calculated movements performed entirely without spoken commands.
